  • About Me: I am a transgender girl (ie. i have a peniz)originally from Los Angeles, well not really actually I'm from the Valley (San Fernando), and have spent the last 4 years in Iowa for school. I major in Sociology with a concentration in Gender, Women's and Sexuality Studies. I'm kind of a nerd when it comes to academic stuff like that. I could sit and discuss sociology, psychology, anthropology, and philosophy all day everyday and never get bored. I spend a lot of time reading, usually academic writing, and when I'm not reading that I'm reading books that are meant for kids (like The Wizard of Oz, Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland), books that really have no serious literary value (The Devil Wears Prada), or books that center on utopian and dystopian ideas (Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451, and The Time Machine). I love to travel. Ever since I was little it has been my dream to see the world and I am well on my way. I've been all over the country to most major cities (Los Angeles, Chicago, San Diego, San Francisco, D.C., Miami, Atlanta, N.Y.C) as well as a number of smaller places. I've also traveled outside of the US (Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Glasgow, Toronto, Tijuana). I'm still no where near having seen the world though; I still have tons of things to see in the United States, and tons of places to visit all around the world. I like to do crafts of all kinds. Sewing/quilting, painting, crochet (I haven't learned to knit yet, but it would be fun), scrap booking, refurbishing, any sort of DIY project sounds fun to me. Also, though I really haven't had the chance while in college, gardening is something that I really enjoy as well. I would love to have my own garden with fresh veggies and herbs one day. I also love decorating, I cannot have blank walls in any place I live as soon as I move in I have to put stuff on the walls. I'm not big on video games, though I love the Super Nintendo System (I know old school) with Yoshi's Island and Donkey Kong. Xbox and Playstati
